AAFA EARLY ANTIQUE ORIGINAL SURVIVOR CABINET CUPBOARD DRY WHITE CHIPPY PAINT. Up for sale is this fabulous old primitive cabinet or cupboard. It’s a nice tall and deep cabinet. It’s a large, solid, old four-door cabinet with two doors above and two doors below. The cabinet has beautiful white/chippy paint. It’s tall and very attractive with alligator / crackled paint. This old cabinet is a survivor. It has old square nails in the backs and sides as we hope you can see in the close-up pictures. Not all nails are square as a few were probably added over the years. There are some shiny round nails in the trim piece at the bottom on the front. This trim may have been added as it looks newer than the age of the cabinet. The cabinet leans back, and as you can see in the pictures of the bottom, we used a board to shim the back portion up and help it from leaning back. The doors work nicely and there are old porcelain latch knobs on the doors. The lower right doorknob is broken and easily falls out. We were able to wedge it in there for the pictures but another picture shows it out and separated from the escutcheon. Also, a couple of the latches don’t latch, meaning that they don’t hold the doors shut. We used a small piece of cardboard under the doors to keep them closed, you may want to do the same. Not all of the porcelain knobs are the same as you can see in the pictures. Theyre old and a need a little care during use. It’s a wonderful dry wood, white in color with old worn paint. The paint appears to be all original and is dry, alligator-ed, worn, rubbed, scraped, chipped, nicked, edge. The inside looks all original with great patina! The inside is old boards. The shelves have some paint on them and lots of patina from the years of use! The back is all original and made out of three large boards and square nails, rosehead type nails with other rusty nails too. This is everything you’d expect to see from an old survivor cabinet like this! What a great look!! The hinges are rusty, heavy duty pin / shaker-style hinges. At the top of the cabinet, it has a crown molding type top. We don’t know the age or origin of this cabinet but we do know that it’s special!! Please see photos for accurate detail and description. The pictures are pretty good for the color, especially the close-up ones. It’s a great old cabinet/cupboard!! The cabinet measures 77″ H x 46″ W x 17 D. We can also recommend a couple of shippers. ANTIQUE 8 DRAWER WOOD APOTHECARY CABINET PRIMITIVE ALLIGATOR WHITE PAINT DRESSER. Up for sale is this wonderful 8 drawer cabinet. It has large drawers with old cup / canopy drawer pulls. The color is a painted white color with lots of crackle in the paint. We call this alligator paint. The entire cabinet has old crackled or missing paint. The top has some scrapes, paint missing and wear with a very nice blue undertone here and there. There is also blue around the inside edges of the drawers as you can see in the pictures. The left side of the cabinet is white, like the front and the right side of cabinet blue as you can see in the pictures. 43″ W by 18″ D without the handles by 30 H. The drawers each measure. 15.5″ W by 15″ D by 4.5 high inside. All of the doors have locks and a divider inside as you can see in the pictures. We don’t have the keys to the locks and we don’t know if the locks work. The bottoms of the drawers are made from plywood. There is a hole in the top as you can see in the pictures. There isn’t a back on this cabinet as you can see in the pictures. You can see the backs of the drawers from the back. All of the drawers have a divider in them; we took a picture of this. We don’t know the age of this item but it looks early 20th century to us. There are nicks, scrapes, small cracks, dings and worn paint/stain as you can see in the pictures but nothing you wouldn’t expect from an item of this age. Antique Hand Painted Blue Swedish Folk Art Cabinet Cupboard. There is a subtle grace to this original painted Swedish cupboard due to the multiple generations of use spanning across 200 years. Originally, pieces like this were painted in vibrant colors where here, the original blue has faded beautifully reflecting its age. Early Antique Folk Art Primitive Wood Dry Gray Cabinet Cupboard Crackle Paint

EARLY ANTIQUE FOLK ART PRIMITIVE WOOD DRY GREY GRAY CABINET CUPBOARD CRACKLE PAINT. Up for sale is this wonderful old primitive cabinet or cupboard. It’s a nice sized four door cabinet with shelves inside! There are two doors on top and two doors on the bottom. The bottom is a little deeper than the top and so there’s a little ledge / stepback part between the top and the bottom. The top doors slide against the little stepback part some and need to be lifted a little when opening them. The bottom doors work nicely. It’s a wonderful dry wood, grey in color with crackled, crazed and worn paint. Underneath is a wood color, possibly red color. Over time, the sides have worn near the bottom and so the cabinet tends to lean forward slightly. We’ve put shims under the front of the cabinet to keep it from leaning forward. The paint appears to be all original and is dry, worn, rubbed, scraped, chipped, nicked, edge worn and patina-ed! The wood is all bead board on the front doors and the sides. Inside the bottom shelf comes out if you want to take it out. The inside looks all original with great patina! The back is all original made of old wood boards with four metal repairs to cover holes and on the corner. This is everything you’d expect to see from an old survivor cabinet like this! What a great look!! The doors have the original iron and porcelain slid latches as you can see in the pictures. There’s also a wood latch near the bottom on the front. Underneath the cabinet has wood boards with a few mouse holes in it. The hinges are heavy duty pin hinges. We don’t know the age or origin of this cabinet but we do know that it’s adorable!
