Aafa Folk Art Early Primitive Antique Old Wood Grey Original Paint Tote Tray

AAFA FOLK ART EARLY PRIMITIVE ANTIQUE OLD WOOD GREY ORIGINAL PAINT TOTE TRAY. Up for sale is this old antique tote with a handle. It’s wood and has splayed sides and a handle cut out on in the middle carry it by. It’s a low tray and has old grey paint with more paint remaining on the outside and a darker patine on the inside. You can see lots of wood color under the missing paint. On one end, near the handle, there’s a notch out of the end wood. Below the notch there’s another little hole. We’re not sure what these were for, perhaps a drain? , but they appear to have been intentional. There’s also a saw cut on this end where perhaps they started another notch and stopped. On the other end, right next to the handle there’s a slot. The nails are rusty but appear to all be round. There is a lot of edge wear, paint loss, nicks, scrapes, splatters, scratches, and dings. There is also a lot of iron spotting around the nails. On the bottom there is some green paint here and there. This looks to be something it may have been set in rather than paint that it was painted, but we’re not sure. All of these “issues” are just as you’d expect from an item of this age. 25.5 L x 12.25 W x 3.5 H to rim x 7.5 H to handle. It’s a very nice piece for your collection. Aafa Antique Folk Art Noahs Ark With 26 Animals German Great Original Paint

AAFA ANTIQUE FOLK ART NOAHS ARK WITH 26 ANIMALS GERMAN GREAT ORIGINAL PAINT. Up for sale is this wonderful super cute Noah family and Noahs ark. Wow, what an amazing collection of Noahs family and animals along with this little ark! The ark is a yellow, orange, blue, green, grey and white with a reddish orange roof. The roof has a little dove with an olive branch painted on it. Its all hand painted. Theres a little band, just under the roof, painted in a pale pink, maroon and white color pattern. On side of the ark is slightly more faded than the other which is brighter and cleaner. The ark measures 13.5 long at the base and 8.5 long for just the ark part. Its about 3.5 wide and by 5.5 H. For size, the people and animals are. Little pink pig: 1-1/8 H. The hinges of the roof are little pieces of wire and you can lift up the roof and see inside. When the roof closes, theres a little wire loop that goes through a slot in the roof. But, it is the original roof and the ark appears to be all original. There are 6 adults and 1 child. Noah is missing and arm and the child is missing their forearm. The rest of the adults are in amazing condition! The Noah (blue) is fantastic, as his color is very good. He even has his staff. There are 26 very adorable animals with this ark. Theyve been well loved and played with over the years and as such, there are some missing body parts. Weve taken pictures of them, so be sure to look and see the pictures. The ones missing legs are laying down in the pictures because they dont stand on their own. There are 9 laying down. The others appear to be quite concerned about their friends. As youd expect, there are scuffs and paint loss, scrapes, scratches, nicks, dings, cracks edge wear, smudges and patina! Aafa Early Antique Folk Art General Store Original Paint Square Nails Dovetailed

EARLY ANTIQUE FOLK ART PRIMITIVE WOOD DRY WRITING SLOPE SQUARE NAILS DOVETAILED. Up for sale is this wonderful old primitive writing slope or desk with cubbies or slots. This is an old, table top style desk. The lid lifts up but it doesn’t stay up by itself. We propped it up with a tube in the pictures and the tube it not included. Above the writing slope there are compartments for documents. There are 18 horizontal slots and one large area to the left. The big area to the left has 3 vertical slots but there are no dividers for those slots. This is an old desk with a great look! It’s a wonderful dry wood, greyish green painted alligatored and crackled color with wood undertones. It’s a very nice color. In some areas, it’s a lighter green, like across the front. Inside, it’s a little grungy and shows years of use and age. The paint appears to be all original and is dry, alligator, worn, rubbed, scraped, chipped, nicked, edge worn and patina-ed! This is everything you’d expect to see from an old survivor desk like this! What a great look! There are a couple of Shaker style metal hinges in the top so the top can hinge upward. On the front of the desk and in the top of the writing slope there are holes where there used to be a lock of some sort. The bottom of the desk is made from 3 boards and there is some separation between the boards as you can see in the pictures of the bottom and the pictures of the inside. The top of the cubbies is one board and that board has warped some over time as you can see in the pictures from the sides. We don’t know the age or origin of this cabinet but we do know that it’s adorable! Please see photos for accurate detail and description. The pictures are pretty good for the color, especially the close up ones. It’s a great old writing slope!! 37 L x 24.5 W x 18 H. It weighs a hefty 55 lbs. ! Thank you for looking at this item. AAFA ANTIQUE FOLK ART NOAH’S ARK TOY BOAT WOOD ANIMALS STICK LEG PUTZ GERMAN? Up for sale is this adorable antique Folk Art Noah’s Ark including Noah + 16 animals. The Ark is probably from the early 1900’s. It has original hand-painted windows and trim accents. The ark itself measures about. 7.25 L for just the boat and 10.5 L at the base. The little cows are 1.25 H x 1.75 L. All the animals are all so cute!! It has its roof and half of it flips up on little red fabric or tape like things. The paint on the ark is a nice faded soft cream, almost a soft green color with brown Tudor style accents and a black and bittersweet roof. The bottom of the boat is more red as you can see in the pictures. It’s all hand-painted with wonderful detail and character. The paint is smudged, worn, patina-ed and original. Inside it’s a single compartment for all of your animals. The bottom of the ark is flat as you can see in the pictures. This ark comes with 16 animals that are wooden nicely detailed and hand painted. 2 grey zebra like things, 2 yellow lambs, 2 black and white cows, 2 orangish zebras. 2 pink pigs, 1 brown and white cow and 1 tan and white cow, 2 reddish dogs? And 2 white dogs. The animals also have paint loss, scrapes, patina, smudges, chips, dots, marks. They all have four legs, stand up and their ears. They appear to be all original. AAFA EARLY FOLK ART ANTIQUE PRIMITIVE WALL CABINET CUPBOARD OLD BLUE PAINT. Up for sale is this adorable wall cabinet or cupboard. It’s a wonderful deep blue color. It has a single door and scroll top. There’s a super cute little mushroom handle, Shaker style hinges and a thumb-turn metal spin latch. The top metal hinge pin is a long nail. The cabinet measures 19 H to the main part of the cabinet and 23.75 H to the top x 12 W x 6 D. This cabinet would work nicely as a medicine cabinet in a bathroom or just as a nice display piece on the wall. There are two large holes in the scroll top probably from where it was hung on the wall. The cabinet is old, but we don’t know how old. The paint is old and crackled with blue on top with green and wood color undertones. The back of the cupboard is wood and it made from 3 pieces of wood as you can see in the pictures. The nails are rusty, old and round. Inside there’s two shelves, three sections total. The inside is painted and off-white with stains, streaks, chips, edgewear and obvious wear from use and age.
