Costa Rica Folk Art “Verano” Painting by Artist Alier Fernandez 1988. I believe it is in its original frame. Outer Frame measures about 12 3/4 by 15 1/2. Actual painting size showing is about 7 3/4 by 10 1/2 inches. I cannot tell for sure what it is painted on. I believe it is a hard board on canvas front maybe. Small card attached to the back of frame says that it is a oil panting and is titled “Verano” which in English means “Summer”. Please enlarge all my pictures for a better look.
