Old Antique Vtg 19th C Folk Art Carved Horn Horse Shaped Figural Original Paint

This offering is for an antique 19th century comb carved in the shape of a running horse. The comb was carved from a single piece of horn and the decorations were hand painted. The horses back is carved with the comb section. The overall length is app. 5″ and it’s 3″ high. The horn section is app. The condition is excellent with light curving to the horn and minor wear to the decorations. The surface has a wonderful mellow patina and displays great.
