The most marvelous little folk art painting! It is titled “A Dutch Scene” written in pencil on the back of the canvas. Along with the following Painted by Mrs. Newton Khone, A Wedding Present for Mr and Mrs John Cole, January 191893. There is a small hole in the canvas, see all photos. It has wear due to age. Measures 12 x 10.

African American Folk Artist Alphonso Willums Original 6″x8″ Painting Unfraimed. Great African American folk art painting by noted Maryland artist Alphonso Willums (1932-). Oil on canvas signed lower left and titled “London Bridge” on the reverse. Painting measures 6″ by 8″. Also included is a story of the painting by the artist. Willums paints scenes from his childhood growing up on the Eastern Shore of Maryland in the 1930s and 1940s. I state only what information I have been able to find on the item and I try to give the best description of its condition. This folk-art painting done by Mary Reed is absolutely beautiful. A southern rural farm with the wisteria growing in the tree on a warm spring day, the chickens scratching in the yard and momma bringing in the wash. Frame measurements are 21 1/2 x 16 1/2. Madhubani India Art Painting Wall Hanging Folk Art Colorful Canvas

Estate sale find of what seems to be a Madhubani painting on canvas cloth. It has pieces of wood on each end. The cloth is 25 1/2 inches long. 12 1/4 inches wide. There is a looped string on nails on the top piece of wood to use to hang it. It appears to be in overall nice condition with light horizontal wear to areas of paint. Spotting is evident on the blank reverse. Please consider listing photos part of the description.
