Great antique folk art decoy this primitive guy has loads of charm he comes with this antique milking stool a great display tighter. He is a working decoy so lots of wonderful wear bottom has a crack which is normal in these decoys but it is stable he is 13 long with old tack eyes really a special little guy. ANTIQUE PAINTED FOLK ART WALL COMB BOX! PA, circa late 19th early 20th century. An outstanding folk art comb wall box in original chrome yellow with red and green trim, hearts with 6 point stars, and lucky horseshoe shapes inside the red hearts, Bulls eyes in green and red with green and white polka dots overall. This is by far the most elaborately, folky painted box of this group of boxes by the same maker. The only apology is one of the up pointing arrows was broken off a long time ago and some minor splitting of the wood and minor abrasions to paint (see photos). The paint is in excellent condition for its age! I have owned this one for some time. A similar example by the same maker is currently listed on e-bay. This one is signed on the back by E. AAFA EARLY ANTIQUE FOLK ART ORIGINAL BLUE PAINTED WOOD PANTRY BOX. Up for sale is this beautiful 19th Century Early pantry box. We love the old Early paint and great patina on this little pantry box. It’s round and has a round lid. The top has a few small pieces of wood missing on the lid as you can see in the pictures. There is also a split on the inside where the band comes together as shown in the photos – not hard to fix. There is also edge wear/paint loss around the whole pantry box where the lid sits. It should look like this if it is original! The color is a polychrome blue, more of a vibrant blue. This was a hard paint/color to get right in the pictures. It is not purple or dark blue – more vibrant. The banding is square-ended and has little round-headed nails in it as well as into the side of the pantry box at the seam. It has some age and wear, wood loss, paint loss, dents, and scratches but is still solid. It measures 10.25″ in diameter at the lid and about 5.125″ high with the lid on. It weighs about 1.5 lbs. Early Aafa Antique Primitive Folk Art Firkin Wood Bucket Original Paint Blue

AAFA EARLY ANTIQUE FOLK ART ORIGINAL BLUE PAINTED WOOD PANTRY BOX. Up for sale is this wonderful light blue-grey firkin!! Some people call them a flour buckets, sugar buckets, pales or pantry boxes!! Wow, look at the wonderful soft color on this one!!! It has what appears to be its original paint. This firkin is a nice large sized firkin with a wood handle with a wood knobbin where the handle connects to the firkin. It has two bands, one at the top and one at the bottom. Both are finger-ended bands. They have nailed the ends. On the lid, the band has a staple and a nail as you can see in the close-up pictures. The staple holds a crack together in the edge of the lid. Both bands are just a little loose and wiggle if you move them but they don’t shift up and down. The vertical staves are fairly tight on this firkin. There are some chips in the bottom of the staves in a couple of places. This firkin is also very clean inside. It’s lid matches but has spots, grunge and patina on it as you can see in the pictures. You can also see that there is a crack in the lid. It’s not loose but there is a crack and on the top there’s a chunk of wood missing. On the inside of the lid you can see the stenciled letters W G YOUNG. This firkin is a nice soft blue-grey color and the paint is dry and patina-ed. It appears to be the original paint. You can see wood under the color here and there as well as some darker areas. This firkin measures 9.125″ in diameter at the top and 10″ in diameter at the bottom. It’s about 9.75 high and weighs about 3 lbs. It has some fading, crackling paint, edgewear, divots in the surface, streaks, paint loss, wood missing here and there, streaks, paint loss, paint chips. The condition of this is exactly what you want to see in old true antiques!! Please look at the photos for a more accurate description and detail and ask lots of questions if needed. Aafa Antique Folk Art 8 Drawer Wood Apothecary White Cubby Cabinet Crates Paint

OLD ANTIQUE 8 DRAWER WOOD APOTHECARY WHITE CUBBY CABINET PRIMITIVE CRATES PAINT AAFA. Up for sale is this wonderful 8 drawer spice or apothecary cabinet. It has 1 large drawer, 2 medium drawers and 5 smaller drawers. The cabinet was made from crates (drawer sides and some bottoms) and little porcelain drawer pulls that have little aged / rusted slotted screws in them. The screws are different sizes and some of the knobs have paint on them. The color is a painted white-white on the drawer faces and cabinet sides with a grey-blue color on the face of the cabinet around the drawers. It makes it very nice looking. It may have been more grey and the white may have been applied over it at some point. The paint obvious brush marks, chips, nicks, edgewear and bumps in it as you can see in the pictures. The drawers are painted on the outside and are unpainted on the inside. The drawers each measure. 1 Large Drawer at right bottom: 12.25″ W x 8.25″ D x 6.5 H (inside dims). 2 Medium Drawers at right top: 11″ W x 7.75″ D x 3.25 D. 5 Smaller Drawers: 5.5″ W x 7.75″ H x 5 D. It is a wonderful and one of a kind! The back is old wood and there are some cracks and separations here and there. We don’t see any square nails but there are a bunch of rusty little nails. The cabinet measures 22.75″ H x 36″ W x 9-1/8″ D without knobs (9.75″ with the knobs). It weighs about 32 lbs. The drawer bottoms are made out of old crates as you can see in the pictures. There are cigar labels and a cigar stamp that says “Modern Times Cigars”. The back of one of the ones at the top right is broken in the back and that crate says Hazel-Atlas Glass Co. Another says “Owl Brand 5c” and is a cigar label actually on the drawer. It’s a good-sized. Cabinet and would not likely be able to hung on the wall or set on top of a cabinet. It’s very cute and not something you’ll see again soon. We don’t know the age of this item but it looks early 20th century to us. There are nicks, scrapes, small cracks, dings and worn paint/stains as you can see in the pictures but nothing you wouldn’t expect from an item of this age. AAFA EARLY ANTIQUE FOLK ART FADED GREY GRAY/BLUE PAINTED PANTRY BOX. Up for sale is this beautiful 19th Century Early pantry box in original paint. We love the old Early paint and great patina on this little pantry box. It’s round and has a round lid. The top has a very small piece of wood missing off the lid as you can see in the pictures where one of the nails chipped the top slightly. There is also a split at one of the nails as shown in the photos. The color is a grey grey, much like a Confederate grey. The bottom of the pantry box has some wear, dings, nicks and scrapes as you can see in the pictures. Inside it’s very clean but does have a very slight “old” smell to it inside. There are two or three small holes in the bottom on the inside that do not go through to the outside. The bottom has some old staining, perhaps from water or something. There are old rusty nails and the bottom edge is worn in places as you can see in the pictures. It has some age and wear, wood loss, paint loss, dents, scratches and minor cracks but is still solid. Early Antique Aafa Folk Art Game Board Checkerboard Original Paint Mustard

EARLY ANTIQUE AAFA FOLK ART CHECKERBOARD ORIGINAL MUSTARD PAINT DARK BROWN OR BURGUNDY. Up for sale is this old hand painted checkerboard. It has a great folk art feel to it! The board has a dark rich. Reddish brown board with worn edges, paint loss and hand wear. The gaming part has beautiful Primitive soft creamy mustard/yellow squares with the reddish/dark brown/burgundy wood color alternating squares. The board is an 12 x 12 game field with room for checkers storage during the game on each end. It appears to be made from two wide / large pieces of wood. It measures 31″ L x 19.5″ W and is about 1-1/4 thick. It weighs about 7 lbs. There’s an old wire on two nails to hang it horizontally and a newer picture hanger to hang the checkerboard on the wall vertically. You can see these in the pictures of the back. The back side just brownish red and has scratches, nicks and dings from years of gaming. This side also has worn edges, scrapes, paint loss and hand wear. This is a very nice game board!! As mentioned, there’s some edge wear, paint loss, nicks, scrapes, scratches and dings. There is also a piece of the trim around the outside missing on the upper right corner if looking at the back. On the left side (looking at the back) there is a knot hole that you can see through. All of these “issues” are just as you’d expect from and item of this age.
