Old Primitive Handmade Wood Wall Hanging Folk Art Salt Box in Dry Green Paint. Nice old primitive, country, folk art, Salt Box will make a perfect addition to your folk art or primitive collection. Handmade with original dry Green paint. Can sit on a table or hang on the wall. You can read parts of it on the back and inside. Reads Church & Dwight New York, NY also Keep dry don’t store in cellar. Measures 9 1/2″ inches tall and 5 1/2″ inches wide and 4 5/8 inches deep. Hand painted “Salt” in a diamond slightly askew on the front. Great patina and paint, hard to find. Some wood splits in places as pictured. Good condition considering the age and utilitarian use. Pictures tell the story. I’ve owned this box in my folk art collection for a while now. Just running out of space. Superb Antique 18c Large Winter Scene Painted Folk Art Glass Onion Bottle AAFA. This is a charming and unusual antique glass “onion” bottle dating to the 18th century. The large hand blown olive green bottle is charmingly decorated with a hand painted winter scene. Children can be seen flying down a sledding hill bystanders look on. The bottle is topped with a hand applied finish and shaved wooden cork. Condition: In overall good condition. As pictured, the painted decorated is flaking and lost is some areas. The base is uneven. As a result, the bottle tips toward one side.. This condition is consistent with age and use. Please examine the images for the best indication of condition. Dimensions: It is 18 1/4 to the top rim. Antique folk art tin top-hatted man jointed puppet, c. Mid- to late 19th century. Great patina as a well-loved toy. Cut sheet metal with handmade riveted joints. Original dry old paint. Likely American origin found in upstate New York. Good condition for age, though a part of one shoe is missing. A rare and one of a kind early folk art toy. AAFA EARLY ANTIQUE WOOD HARVEST FARM TABLE ROUGH SAWN RED ORIGINAL PAINT. Up for sale is this beautiful old kitchen/farm table. It’s a wonderful Primitive red table with a great patina to it. The paint is old and has other light wood undertones as you can see in the pictures. The paint is alligator-ed, worn, peeled and crackled over time. The table has been well used and thus you get the benefits of this amazing ages-old look. It has nicks, dings, edgewear, scrapes, cuts, cracks, knots, stains, chips, chunks and an absolutely wonderful patina. The top of the table is comprised of 3 boards. The top is wood color and does have marks, spots, scrapes and obvious wear from over the years, just the way we like it! It has a rough sawn look to it and is a dark wood color. There are also some old rusty round nails in the top as well as a couple of newer, shiny ones. The legs are turned, ballister style legs as you can see in the pictures. The table measures 75.5″ L x 33″ W x 31 H at one corner (on the casters). At the opposite, kitty-corner, it is 30 H. The skirt, or apron of the table, measures 24.5 H to the floor. This is a great table and would make an amazing centerpiece in your kitchen or dining room. It’s sure to be a conversation starter! We can also recommend a couple of shippers. This is a great table!
