Folk Art Early 20th Century Oil – Partridge Shooting. A charming folk art scene depicting a man and two hounds of a shoot. Inscribed with title to the lower edge. Presented in a vernacular frame. There is a crack running across the centre of the panel. There is some dirt and marking to the surface. There is a small hole to the panel on the upper right. Size: 34 x 40cm (13.4″ x 15.7″). Framed Size: 49 x 55cm (19.3″ x 21.7″). Includes a Certificate of Authenticity. All our artworks are packaged to a very high standard, using protective cellophane wallets, hardboard backing, and bubble wrap. Framed pictures are packed into custom made cartons. Please see item description. 19th Century BRITISH PRIMITIVE CAPRICCIO Landscape Oil Painting WARWICK CASTLE. “Warwick Castle Landscape” British Primitive c1850. Highly decorative early Victorian work- a view of Warwick Castle from the River Avon. The artist has added to the feel of the capriccio with the addition of an old bridge over the river. Size- 13.5 by 17 inches approx including frame, canvas 10 by 14 inches approx. Medium- Oils on canvas Frame- Antique wooden frame, some knocks, offered free with the painting. Condition- We would be very happy to hang this one as found. Generally good condition given its age, only the odd light mark in places. Some varnish browning, light craqueleur throughout.
