Beautiful miniature blanket chest or document box in old red paint. The paint on this chest is original old wine red paint with the exception of the end cuts that were color matched. It has brass hinges, a nice little rectangular escutcheon (non functioning), and a molded top panel. The dimensions are: 9-5/8″ wide x 5-7/8″ tall x 4 deep (front to back). This is a reconstruction made from old original painted pine and tiny square cut nails. There are scrapes and paint spatters on the front and top panels. A very nice small size.
