Offered here is a cool hand painted Folk Art antique wood double sided, hand painted Music store, studios, recording, sheet musid, Instrument Folk Art sign. Used by a shop in the 1920’s-1950’s in New Jersey. Painted in a weathered white with black painted letter. The sign is two sided with both sides painted the same. The front and back are painted masonite, while the interior is wood. Masonite was used from 1924 on. Two places on top where original metal hardware is attached. The sign is is lovely antique condition. Scrapes, letters are peeling off but stable, chips, etc make for wonderful patina! Perhaps having this restored would be a good idea, eventually. If you have it high enough on the the wall , untouched, it will be fine. Many possibilities for this great piece of Folk Art!
