Five (5) vintage Brazil artist Virgilio Nabais paintings (pintado a mao reproducao proibida). Painted on linen and mounted onto exotic wood veneer with linen backing. Ready for framing or for a genuine retro look, can be hung with attached loop on backing. Measures 9-5/8 x 8″ with linen section measuring 6.5″ x 5. Prints have original numbered maker stickers in back. Included are #’s 15, 21, 23, 30, 44. #15 – woman with bird, wine bottle, cigarette (Boutique Joana 1960 sticker on back). #21 – monk with boy walking towards monastery. #23 – woman with food tray on head. #30 woman with basket waiving to man on sailing raft (has some red/pink blotches to right side on artwork). #44 cowboy on horse. Overall in very good condition without cracks/chips to wood veneer. Some discoloration on linen backing. Pics are of the exact item you will receive.

This is an outstanding large c1840 birdseye maple veneered frame. S trongly stippled birdseye veneer on flat, canted molding with excellent color. The frame is in great condition with a few minor losses and measures 25 1/8 x 35 1/2 with a 21 1/2 x 31 1/4 rabbet. Constructed with square nailed, mitered corners and oxidized mustard color painted sides. A great frame for a painting or portrait as it has a deep rabbet.
