Pair of reverse paintings – appear to be all original. Both ladies “portraits” are possibly from a die cut? Reverse painting of double hearts surround the lady on all four corners. Each in matching painted black frames. Backing is covered in wallpaper. Previous owner hung them up using thumbtacks. 5 x 6 inches. I have not removed either from their frames. Just dusted them off. This offering is for a mid 19th century Folk Art Tinsel Painting. The artwork was done using a technique of reverse painting on glass combined with colored tinsel or foil.
