Very good vintage condition, colors bright, slight surface soil consistent with age. Overall good vintage condition with a few small nicks and scuffs. Notable stain along lower margin (see photos). Wired and ready to hang; original brown paper backing intact with small tear at top. Carlos Perteagudo (born 1937, Argentina) is a painter recognized for his colorful, narrative, and naïve-style compositions. His works often feature whimsical figures, flowers, and everyday scenes. Perteagudo’s paintings have appeared at international auctions including MutualArt, Invaluable, and AskART, and are sought by collectors of Latin American folk and postwar naïve art.
