Antique c1789 SLAW BOARD HEART CUTOUT PAINT PINWHEEL AAFA Folk Art Primitive. Early Pennsylvania slaw board with heart cutout under a pinwheel design. Untouched surface with rich patina and traces of original paint. The date 1789 carved en verso, the date is under the patina/paint and not through it (important to note). It was once footed but now only a single foot remains. Pegged with a few later nails. Another unique feature is the double wrought iron blades.
