Almarie Pittman Little original oil of the French Quarter. Untitled oil on canvas featuring Royal Street in New Orleans. No date, but likely late 1980’s. Little was a listed American Folk Artist known for her Black Heritage Art. Painting measures approx 7″x5″. Frame measures 10-1/2″x8-3/4″. Very good condition overall. An interesting and unusual 19th century oil on canvas depicting a view of The Tower of London from the River Thames. With several figures in 19th century dress on the south bank and with a Royal Barge and a three-masted gunship and other vessels on the river and the Tower of London in the background. Signed,”Wilson”, lower left, i n good condition and h oused in a contemporary giltwood frame, ready to hang. The image dimensions are approximately: 18 1/2” x 12” (47cm x 30cm).
