Brook Trout – Salvelinus fontinalis – native to the Eastern US, including the North Georgia Mountains, AKA Speckled Trout, where groups of Specs or Brookies, a “hover” are rare – our Southern sub-species may be extinct. Northern Brookies are now stocked in colder South Mountain waters. ORIGINAL WORK – Painted in heavy body textured acrylic, on 12 x 16 canvas board. A Chilliwack jacket cost more but will not increase in value to outpace inflation.
