Absolutely beautiful front and back. Has an old sticker/tag that is peeled off on bottom which may have been the original tag, not sure. L, but it’s pictured. The resting eagle appears to have a smudge or imperfections its head, but thats the way it was painted. Do female eagles have this on their head, idk? ! ? ! Box will be larger sized. Many items I find i would like to keep… But i must let go… You should feel confident purchasing this piece!!!

AAFA ANTIQUE FOLK ART EARLY CHILDS CUPBOARD WOOD OYSTER WHITE PAINT SIGNED DATED. Up for sale is this wonderful 3 drawer child’s / doll dresser. It’s a beautiful old dresser in an oyster white. The paint is old and original, and it’s crackled and alligator-ed everywhere. The knobs are old painted wooden knobs and appear to be original to the piece. It’s a wonderful oyster white on the outside and a stunning aquamarine blue on the inside of the drawers. The blue is probably newer than the white as on the top drawer, in the back along the inside, there’s scribed in the wood. On the front, you can see that the cabinet is worn and has separated just a little where the bottoms of the drawers meet the sides of the dresser. This doesn’t detract from the look but you can see it if you look at it. The whole cabinet measures 17.25″ W x 7.75″ D x 12 H it weighs 10 lbs. The drawers are 15″ W x 6.25″ D and about 2 H each. The back is not painted as you can see in the pictures. It is a wonderful and one of a kind item! There are nicks, scrapes, dings and worn paint as you can see in the pictures but nothing you wouldn’t expect from an item of this age. We will do our best to answer your questions. For sale is this nice folky oil painting on artist board of chicks eating out of an oyster shell. The painting has great use of perspective and shadow as well as expert use of the brush. The painting is not signed , however on the back it is marked with the date FEB. 25th 1895 and initials MM which I assume are the painters. The painting is in good condition, there is a small amount of paint loss from a few scratches. The biggest one is at the top , shown in the photo. They are quite superficial. A great painting with lots of charm and character. The painting measures 11/3/4″ x 9 1/2″ with out the frame. With frame it measures 14 3/4″x 12 1/2″. The frame is a nice antique walnut one , probably original to the painting.
