After working as a baker, he became a boxer before improvising as an actor and singer[3]. In 1978 and 1980, he exhibited at the Salon d’hiver[4]. In the 1980s, he moved to Paris[4]. Discovered by Jean Dubuffet[4], his work as a painter and sculptor is akin to art brut and singular[5].
