American Folk Painting Custom Art Frame Signed Huntington Canvas Country Cows

Size – 40″x32″. Frame definitely painted and made by same artist – We think his name is H. Huntington – most mystery American folk painter. Nothing about him out there – not even 1st name, not even in Wikipedia – only few large size paintings with same sign. But THIS ONE super special – custom frame and colors “happy”. Rest of his paintings kind “vintage dark brown”. Feel free to ask questions. Sorry for bad English grammar – speak too many languages but grammar not good. I have thousands items to sell but slow on posting all. Please keep fallow and checking store. And please keep in mind to learn all description carefully because we choose unpopular “no return” policy – simply almost as old as our antique items to hustle with that. Large scale still life painting on canvas depicting vintage Baseball ephemera and collectibles. Included are the Brooklyn Dodgers, the Chifeds, Lou Gehrig, a Louisville Slugger bat, hat, glove, ticket stubs, programs, photographs and more. Signed Huntington middle left side of painting, stamped Artmaster Studios on the back of stretcher. Fine quality painting in a solid Oak frame, classic folk art style. Striking piece that remains in great shape with mild signs of age, ready to hang. Big: about 43.5″ x 35.5″ by sight, frame is 47. There are no holes, no rips, canvas is tight and flat. Painting is generally clean, bright colors, no water damage, no foxing etc. Last photo shows a small’imperfection’ in the upper left-hand corner, looks to be a small flaw in the canvas prior to painting-not a tear or cut. Frame is also in fine shape, clean and even finish, free of chips or cracks, solid, hangers are also good, ready to hang. IN THIS PAINTING HE ABANDONS HIS NORMAL DEPICTIONS OF DOLLS, TEDDY BEARS, BOARDING PAPERED WALLS ECT FOR GOLF! WHEN WE RECEIVED THIS PAINTING IT WAS FROM THE SALE OF A POLO CLUB LIQUIDATION I WAS AMAZED AS I KNOW THIS SIGNATURE WHEN I SEE IT AS I HAVE FOUR OF HIS NORMAL PAINTINGS MYSELF. BUT WHAT STRUCK ME AS ODD WAS NUMBER ONE GOLF BEING THE SUBJECT NUMBER TWO THE REALISTIC DEPICTIONS OF MUCH OF WORLD GOLF HISTORY. HE PAINTED THE ADVERTISEMENTS SO PERFECTLY THAT LOOKING AT THEM YOU WOULD THINK THEY WERE PRINTED STICKERS. HUNTINGTON REALLY SHOWS OFF HIS SKILL IN THIS PAINTING. THERE IS WAY TO MUCH HISTORY TO NAME BUT CAN BE ROUNDED UP TO ANTIQUE GOLF MASTERS ALONG WITH TOP ANTIQUE GOLF BUSINESS. JUST MIND BLOWING THE INFORMATION PROVIDED, HE PAINTED THE EXACT ADVERTISEMENTS FOR THAT DAY AND AGE. LOOKING AT NOT ONLY THE DETAIL ONE MUST NOTICE THE STYLE HE NOT ONLY PAINTED IN HIS NORMAL FLAT AND SHARP TONES BUT ADDED A BLOTCHY TEXTURE TO THE CANVAS THAT REALLY GIVES IT THE STONE WALL EFFECT. HE MUST HAVE BEEN KEEPING IN MIND WHERE THIS WAS GOING AND KNEW IT WOULD FIT THE TONE OF THE WALLS OR INTERIOR TO A PERFECTION. I HAVE TOOK PICTURES TO SHOW YOU THE SWIRLS AND PURPOSE TEXTURE ORIGINALLY ADDED BY HUNTINGTON. LOOKING AT THE MAIN PICTURE ONE MAY THINK THERE IS A CUT IN THE CANVAS UP TOP IN THE ONE ADVERTISEMENT BUT REFERRING TO THE CLOSES UP WOULD SEE THIS IS NOT DAMAGE THESE SWIRLS AND BLOTCHES APPEAR THROUGHOUT AND OFFER A SURREAL TOUCH TO THE PAINTING. THERE IS A FEW LIGHT SCRATCHES DEPICTED IN PHOTOS AND AS YOU CAN SEE THEY ARE SURFACE PAINT SCRATCHES. MEANING THESE SCRATCHES DID NOT GO THROUGH THE CANVAS IN ANY WAY. WITH A LITTLE TOUCH UP THEY WILL NOT BE NOTICEABLE THESE LIGHT AND FEW SCRATCHES ARE MAILY LOWER AREA OF THE PAINTING REFER TO PIC’S. HANGING ON THE WALL THESE LIGHT SCRATCHES WOULD NOT EVEN BE NOTICEABLE TO TELL YOU THE TRUTH EITHER WAY VERY WORTHY OF BEING PAMPERED, FOR YOURSELF AS A GOLFER OR FAN OF GOLF. I LOVE THE CHICAGO ADVERTISEMENT 1924 LOWER BOTTOM STATING AT TIME THE ISSUE COSTED 25 CENTS WOW WELL THOSE DAYS ARE LONG GONE LOL. THE EXACT MEASUREMENTS ARE AS FOLLOWS W- 29.25 x H- 35.25 (FRAMED) SPEAKING OF THE FRAME IT IS IN OVERALL GOOD CONDITION. A FEW SMALL SCRATCHES BUT NOTHING SANDING WOULD NOT FIX PLEASE READ OUR REVIEWS. S I SAVED THE SURFACE SCRATCH PICTURE FOR LAST AS THIS IS THE MOST DAMAGE TO THIS PAINTING THERE ARE THREE MORE THAT ARE EVEN LIGHTER THAN THIS ONE. EXAMPLE THE DEPICTED LIGHT SCRATCH UNDERNEATH THE POOL STICKS. SINCE I TOOK THESE OUTDOOR AND THE PAINTING IS SLIGHTLY DUSTY ONCE AGAIN PHOTO’S MAY SEEM DULL. HOWEVER I CAN ASSURE YOU THAT ONCE YOU DUST THIS PIECE IT WILL BRIGHTEN UP….
