Wonderful hand painted folk art tin by artist John Dunn. This decorative metal canister features a warm rust red and black finish with hand painted pears, green grapes, leaves and delicate decorative accents. The artwork continues around the canister and onto the lid. The bottom is signed by the artist. This piece has a beautiful aged folk art appearance and displays very well. There is paint loss around the lid as shown in the photo. Please see all photos closely, as they are an important part of the condition description. I was so proud to come home with this treasure and have enjoyed it all of these years! But now it is time to share. A wonderful piece for a John Dunn collection, American folk art collection, primitive decor or country kitchen display.

Thank you for visiting my gallery. Every painting I create is an original, one-of-a-kind work of art, individually hand painted in my Western New York studio using acrylics on stretched canvas or professional grade paper. No prints or reproductions-just authentic, original artwork created one brushstroke at a time. I believe original paintings should be accessible to everyone, whether you’re starting an art collection, searching for a unique gift, or adding a one-of-a-kind piece to your home or office. This is an original one-of-a-kind painting. It is not a print or reproduction. Size: 11 x 14 inches. Medium: Acrylic on canvas. Finish: Hand painted on stretched canvas. Dimension/ Size: 12″x 12″. Surface: Gesso Primed Canvas. Varnishing: After the painting process is done and dried fully, I have applied fine oil paint varnish on the top of the painting, which mainly gives the protection to the painting and additionally gives it a little gloss! There might be small changes in the color, and details as the screen and camera effects, but 99% of the whole painting and the vibe is the same! Actually this is my personal favorite painting. Since the childhood, I have been painting for fun, for friends and for completions. I just enjoyed the process, and after my Advanced level examinations I jumped to full time painting until my university begins, I used to earn from it. Now the university has begun and I spend nearly 2-3 hours per day on my arts, as it helps me to prevent from ultimate university stress and earn on my own. I work with oil paints, acrylic paints, water colors, color pencils as well as oil pastels. You can see variety of my artworks in this small online store, and each one has a story behind it! Now I have been earning from painting for nearly 3 years, but if my loving parents and customers were not with me, I couldn’t do it like this. I don’t want to disappoint any of you and that’s something I consider as my main responsibility. That’s why you should read this description, and the story behind the name, and about the artist I’ve explained. If it is an original painting, I will wrap it with a polythene layer with a special hand written note on it. Polythene layer to avoid water and humidity, and the note is to send my love for supporting this artist! And then to a bubble wrap to avoid shocks and falls. Then a final cardboard wrap and addressing. Then straight to the post office! Wrapping is done in Friday afternoons with my family. So, I can Be hurry with your order. It costs no more additional charges. It may take 4- 5 weeks to arrive to USA. Usually it takes 3 weeks, but the country situation is causing few delays. After it arrives to your hands, open it and enjoy it. If you are happy and satisfied with it, please let me know and add feedback to me. If you are unhappy, with a certain fair reason, I’m glad to hear that too and provide you a satisfying solution. Happy shopping and happy creating!

Emerging from the shadows, this cat has meandered through a sun drenched garden to say hello. There’s nothing quite like the feeling of piqued interest expressed by a beautiful creature, and this friend is curious to know all about where you have been and what you have done. Sized two feet by three feet, this painting is perfect for an entryway, end of hall or unexpected nook. The thick, impasto texture of this piece will perfectly capture the changing light of day to make it settle into any setting effortlessly. The cat is rendered in low relief, giving an emergent, lifelike quality to the image. This cat almost demands a boop to the nose in recognition! Bring this moment of connection to your space, it’s a wonderful conversation starter and an arresting focal point. The mind wanders and the eyes are saturated in warm, electric tones and sensual texture. Is this feline the companion you have been missing?

Korean MinHwa Folk Tiger & Magpies Hand Painting. Hand Painted on Korean Hanji Paper. This artwork is a traditional Korean folk painting Hojakdo, which inspired the unique animal motifs featured in K-POP Demon Hunters. Hojakdo is a traditional painting that depicts a tiger, a magpie, and a pine tree together. To fully appreciate this piece, it’s important to understand the symbolism of the animals in Hojakdo. In Korean culture, the tiger-considered the most powerful of beasts-wards off evil spirits. The magpie is a messenger that brings good news, while the pine tree symbolizes longevity and resilience. Traditionally, Hojakdo paintings were exchanged as gifts at the beginning of the new year to wish for peace and well-being. They were also commonly given to people moving into a new home or starting a new business as a symbol of good fortune. Measurements: It is approximately: 15″ x 24″ x 1. The painting is a good condition. Please look at pictures.

Beautiful and authentic 19th-century hand-painted portrait of a gentleman with mutton-chop sideburns, rendered in oil on stretched linen canvas. The vivid green background and formal attire reflect classic Victorian-era studio portraiture or folk art style, circa 1880s-1890s. The painting remains on its original wood stretcher and comes with its ornate carved wood frame featuring a heart-cut border design. Frame shows a rich aged patina and minor finish wear consistent with age. Canvas edges exhibit fraying, tack holes, and small wear spots typical for its period (see photos). There are light surface marks, one small puncture, and age-related toning, but no large tears or repairs detected. Canvas: Original, stretched; frayed corners and tack holes visible; age toning on reverse. Painting: Intact, vivid coloration; some surface wear, scuffs, and mild stains. Frame: Original carved wood with patina, wear, and light chipping; solid structure. Frame: 21″ wide × 25″ tall.

Large Old Vintage Hand Made Painted Wood Folk Art Primitive Whirligig. Made of scrap wood & metal with a figure of a man & a woman turning the whirligig mechanism when the wind blows. Still works as designed! Measures approximately 30″ long x 26-1/2″ high x 14 wide at the widest point. Condition is old with much weather use wear including losses to the wood & paint. Several newer metal pieces were apparently used over time to stabilize the whirligig (screws & metal rings). The clothing on the male & female figures must have been replaced several times over the years (made from rags). The top part is removable from the base (just lifts off). Still works fine if properly mounted outdoors. Please view all the pictures.
