Traditional Central Asian / Mongolian Folk Art (Mongol Zurag style). A highly decorative, narrative piece featuring a Mongolian Lord, Khatun, and children in traditional ceremonial dress. Hand-painted pigments on textured parchment paper/hide. High-end custom gallery framing. Features a rich, deep-red plush velvet mat board and an elegant dark-gold beaded wood frame. Overall Frame Dimensions: 7 x 5 7/8. 4 7/8 x 3 7/8. The frame backing uses modern industrial staples and a solid protective backboard, showing this piece was professionally cared for. The artwork itself is in excellent, protected vintage condition with beautiful natural aging to the parchment texture. The wood frame is solid and secure. Size – 40″x32″. Frame definitely painted and made by same artist – We think his name is H. Huntington – most mystery American folk painter. Nothing about him out there – not even 1st name, not even in Wikipedia – only few large size paintings with same sign. But THIS ONE super special – custom frame and colors “happy”. Rest of his paintings kind “vintage dark brown”. Feel free to ask questions. Sorry for bad English grammar – speak too many languages but grammar not good.
