Willums was born in 1932 on the eastern shore of Maryland. The Maryland Historical Society owns one of his paintings, titled “The Strawberry Checkout”. Oil on canvas board. African American Outsider Artist. Williums is know to have painted memories of his own experiences growing up on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. This painting is signed by the artist. We have downsized due to a move. Our collections are special and now we share.
