Here’s a Great Vintage circa 1950 Folk Art Painting of a Busy Winter Farm. This painting is on a 16″ by 20″ canvas board which is bowed. It’s not too bad so you can put it into a frame and flatten it out. The outer edges have paint residue I guess from someone painting a now missing frame. That should mostly be covered by the new frame. Pictures 6 and 7 show what maybe a very shallow scratch across the sky, I think it would clean up but I didn’t touch it. A fantastic example of early American folk art. A primitive painted parcheesi game board. Painted on an old cutting board. Likely dates to the first quarter of the 20th century. Old and original paint and patina. No paint in the cracks. The cracks visible are separations in the joints of the board. It would be an easy fix if someone chose to re-glued the joints.
