In good Antique used and played with condition. There is loss to the varnish, fading to the paint and gilt decoration. These were toys so active play has caused most of the damage, plus they may have been stored in various situations for example sunlight, which would also lead to this type of loss. Photos show the dolls back and front and bases. Please check the photos as they show the condition clearly. Size is approx 5 – 6 inches shown clearly in the photos. These are rare survivors, made of wood and hand painted, with some light indents or carving. I have dated them from the mark on the base to 1920 – 1930’s.
