Set of vintage, mid-20. The photos do them no justice. · Custom framed (in Vicksburg, MS), Balinese Batuan painting, signed DWRAI. Measures approximately 32H x 17W, depicts the mythology characters Jatayu and Rahwana. Measures approximately 30H x 17W, depicts the mythology characters Hanuman. There is some slight tearing of the paper on the backing of the frames from moving, but doesn’t affect the front-facing frame/glass, nor has it altered the integrity of the art inside. Vintage Antique Stunning California Coast Malibu Ocean Oil on Canvas Painting
Up for sale is this breathtaking California Malibu Coastline by artist Scott VonWeller. From what I could find he painted a few pictures along the coastline of California in the 1930s. Apparently an immigrant from Germany. It is quite a gorgeous painting beautiful blues and greens in the water. The painting itself measures about 18″ × 24″. It is framed out in a beautiful gold frame to 22″ x 28″and is ready to hang on the wall. It is in great condition. I found this in a storage unit. I hope someone can use it. Thank you for looking. Stunning Fancy Paint Decorated Miniature Blanket Chest Document Box Folk Art
Fancy paint decorated miniature chest with bracket base. This box has a wonderful decoration on the front and both sides featuring a toleware-like border on each corner and a stunning compote on the front. The black background is original paint and the decoration is a newer addition. This is an artisan reproduction made from old recycled pine with original surface. Constructed with square cut nails and miniature brass hinges and even a till inside. Note the little glue blocks on the feet.
