Vintage Oil on Board- Ocean, Rocky Coast, Cottage Shack, Shoreline, Folk Art Decorative Im guessing this was done between the late 20’s up through the late 50’s hard to tell but board may give it away you have to decide also the painting measures approx. 19-7/8 X 16 inches is unframed. What’s wrong with it? Painting is in pretty good condition some minor paint loose, scratches, nicks dents dings along the edges and most defiantly needs a good cleaning. Up for sale is this breathtaking California Malibu Coastline by artist Scott VonWeller. From what I could find he painted a few pictures along the coastline of California in the 1930s. Apparently an immigrant from Germany. It is quite a gorgeous painting beautiful blues and greens in the water. The painting itself measures about 18″ × 24″. It is framed out in a beautiful gold frame to 22″ x 28″and is ready to hang on the wall. It is in great condition. I found this in a storage unit. I hope someone can use it. Thank you for looking. Vintage c. 1983 C. Jere Nautical Folk Art Metal Whale Painted Ocean Scene MCM
Jere nautical themed folk art piece. The whale is made of a heavy solid metal or lead. The board looks to be hand painted. Really a different style piece from the typical C. Jere works I’ve seen. Measurements 20″ tall x 14 1/8″ wide. It has a few small dings in the corners and some lighter wear from age. The green spacers were added to keep the whale from hitting the wood.
