AAFA ANTIQUE FOLK ART BLUE PAINT WOOD WHEELBARROW GARDEN PRIMITIVE SQUARE NAILS. Up for sale is this wonderful old wheelbarrow. We don’t know the age or its origin, but it looks old to us. It’s so cute! It’s an old Federal blue that’s faded and worn. There’s also a little faded red trim / paint on the sides as you can see in the pictures. There’s a little decal on each side that was probably added later and is fairly well worn. It looks like an Indian to us. It measures 35 long x 12 wide at handles x 10.5 wide at front of the barrow and. High at highest point. I t’s been well used and loved over the years. The handles are worn, the sides have some scrapes, paint loss and wear. The inside shows some light grunge and use. The front axle looks a little crooked but it still rolls nicely. The wheel is black. The paint appears to be all original and is worn, rubbed, scraped, chipped, nicked, edge worn and patina-ed! This is everything you’d expect to see from an old survivor like this! Early Aafa Antique Folk Art American Apothecary Cabinet Square Nails Green Paint

EARLY AAFA ANTIQUE FOLK ART AMERICAN APOTHECARY CABINET SQUARE NAILS GREEN PAINT. Up for sale is this wonderful twelve-drawer apothecary cabinet. It has 12 equal sized drawers each with its own cup handle style pull. The color is a dark green which is on the wood and handle parts. It has edge wear and the paint is scuffed. What a great look! The cabinet measures 31.75″ wide and 37″ high and 11.25 deep. The cabinet is very heavy and weighs a hefty xx lbs. ! The top is one piece of wood and it’s faded over the years. The back is a thin piece of wood and was likely replaced at some point. It’s very clean. The drawers are dovetailed and of solid wood. They have square nails in the sides as you can see in the pictures. Some of them have writing on them on the outside of the drawers which you can’t see once they are slid in to the cabinet. Some of the writing is in pencil and other writing is in crayon. You can see where a couple of drawers have issues like the upper right drawer where the top of the wood face came off and the bottom was glued back on. The light wood color appears to have been the color of the cabinet before it was painted. All the drawers work well, though. We don’t know the age of this cabinet but it looks old to us! You make the call. It is a wonderful and one of a kind item! There are nicks, scrapes, dings, edgewear, chunks, paint loss, paint chips, some chips on the sides near the bottom (probably from moving this around) and worn finish as you can see in the pictures but nothing you wouldn’t expect from an item of this age. Early Aafa Antique Folk Art Original Paint Primitive Wood Dry Sink Square Nails

AMAZING AAFA 1800’S OLD PAINT DARK GREEN PRIMITIVE WOOD DRY SINK SQUARE NAILS. Up for sale is this wonderful old primitive dry sink. It’s a large two door cabinet with a dry sink above. It’s a really cool dry, dark green color with light green, persimmon and reddish undertones. There are other colors coming through the dark green paint as it appears to have been repainted but the green paint is still obviously very old. There is a neat looking persimmon or pumpkin color paint on the inside of the doors which may indicate that the entire cabinet. May have been that persimmon color at one point. Please see photos for the best description and accuracy. The paint appears to be all original and is dry, worn, rubbed, scraped, chipped, nicked, edge worn and patina-ed! There are also some cracks in the wood from age. This is everything you’d expect to see from an old survivor cabinet like this! What a great look! It’s an old dry sink and you can see the big gnarly square nails on the back. One goes through the side and that side piece of wood is missing and you can see the nail is a hefty long one. You can see this in one of the four-up pictures in the upper left picture. The square nails have big rusty heads on them. Down below on the back you can see a blue board. This appears to be a replacement board but is still the same thickness as the top board. In the bottom board there are round nails. The side back boards are a full 1 thick, wow!! The front boards are 7/8 thick. The right side board is sloped and there’s a chunk missing near the front board. We took a close-up picture of this. On the front the doors have old and heavy Shaker style hinges on them. The doors open and the left door’s bottom hinge is loose both at the screws and the hinges. There are newer cabinet clasps on the inside to hold the doors shut as you can see in the pictures (the silver things). You could leave the doors open and display crocks, or firkins or other wonderful items. There’s a mouse hole on the front doors as you can see in the pictures. There are a lot of old rusty nails as you can see in the pictures. Also, there’s a crack in the well of the dry sink but it is still sturdy and strong. There’s no paint in the well of the dry sink. The paint has some edge wear, scrapes, patina, fading, variation of color, wood showing through, chipping and nicks. Please see photos for accurate detail and description. The pictures are pretty good for the color, especially the close up ones. It’s a great old cabinet / cupboard!! The cabinet measures 58.75 W x 19.25″ D x 29.75″ H. EARLY AAFA FOLK ART ANTIQUE ORIGINAL HAND PAINTED MUSTARD WALL CABINET SQUARE NAILS. Up for sale is this wonderful single door wall cabinet. It’s all hand painted in a nice Primitive mustard color and has tremendous patina and wear. The cabinet measures 26.75″ high to the top and 21.5″ wide and. On the front it has a little twist latch. It’s a little wobbly but it works. The hinges are Shaker style hinges as you can see from the pictures. They appears to be the original hinges. Inside it has two shelves and is very clean. The back is made from horizontal tongue and groove boards. The very bottom board was likely replaced a long time ago and has some round nails in it. The other nails are all big gnarly rosehead square nails. Around the bottom of the cabinet there’s some wood rot, probably from years and years ago. We took a picture for you but it sits well and is sturdy. The paint appears to be all original and is dry, faded, worn, rubbed, scraped, chipped, nicked, edge worn and patina-ed! AAFA ANTIQUE PRIMITIVE GRAIN MEASURE DOUGH BOWL ORIGINAL PAINT RED SQUARE NAILS. Up for sale is this wonderful oxblood red grain measure or dough bowl!! Can you imagine filling this with grain and then going out to feed the animals and pulling the little slide up and letting some grain out for them? Wow, check out the great look to this one!! It has what appears to be its original paint that is old and dry as well as worn and patina-ed. It’s a dry aged oxblood red. This grain measure is very large and would make a statement centerpiece on your table! 9.75 inches long by 29.5 wide and is about 7.5 inches high at the highest point. The sides are curved in and one end has the slide gate that allows you to lift up the slide and let some grain out. It has old rusty square nails holding it together, how cool! It has some fading, crackling paint, edgewear, streaks, paint loss, paint loss, paint chips. The condition of this is exactly what you want to see in old true antiques! EARLY AAFA ANTIQUE FOLK ART APOTHECARY GENERAL STORE SQUARE NAILS ORIGINAL PAINT. Up for sale is this fabulous old and early primitive APOTHECARY CABINET or cupboard. It’s a nice old stepback and was likely a general store sales display cabinet. It’s an open cabinet above with three shelves above and 30 drawers down below. We don’t know how old it is, but it looks early 1800’s to us! It has big old SQUARE NAILS throughout and a wonderful ORIGINAL (old) GRAY PAINT with tons of character and patina. The cabinet measures 72.25″ H x 80.25″ W x 17.5″ D at the bottom and 8″ D at the top. This old cabinet is a survivor. The top part comes off the bottom part and is screwed in to the two pieces of wood near the back of the bottom piece. It has old slotted rusty screws that hold it together. The back at the top is made from five large boards. The back at the bottom is made from ten tongue and groove boards. There’s some damage on the back from critters, a tool or something. It has sat in our garage for two years and there was no evidence of any activity so whatever did the work on this was long gone. There are big gnarly SQUARE NAILS on the back and big iron spots on the wood as you can see in the pictures. Near the bottom it has a flared out trim. You can see in the pictures where a chunk of this is missing. There are also cracks in the trim. We recommend you put a piece of wood under one end when lifting the cabinet to help keep the trim from breaking. On the bottom, you can see the big gnarly SQUARE NAILS. It’s a wonderful dry wood and is a beautiful gray in color with OLD WORN PAINT. The paint appears to be all original to the cabinet. The top part of the right side does not have paint on it as you can see in the pictures. There are 8 drawers in each of the top three rows. The drawers are DOVETAILED on the sides as you can see in the pictures. The top row has one drawer that has three knobs but is one drawer. The middle knob on the drawer is darker and a different shape which likely means that it is not original to the piece. All the other knobs look original to us. A few of the knobs have nicks and chunks missing as you can see in the pictures. Here are little blocks of wood at the backs of the drawers that stop the drawers at the right spot. You can just open the drawers, move the wood back and then put the drawers back in. If you don’t move the cabinet around you shouldn’t have to mess with the little blocks. The back is not painted. The paint is dry, worn, rubbed, scraped, chipped, nicked, faded, edge. The inside is all original. On the shelves there are ring marks, stains, worn areas and PATINA. This is everything you’d expect to see from an old survivor cabinet like this! What a great look! We don’t know the age or origin of this cabinet but we do know that it’s special!! It is truly one-of-a-kind! We’ve not seen a nicer cabinet for sale online. Please see photos for accurate detail and description. Early Aafa Antique Folk Art Cabinet Cupboard Square Nails Orig Blue Paint Repair

EARLY AAFA ANTIQUE FOLK ART CABINET CUPBOARD SQUARE NAILS ORIG BLUE PAINT REPAIR. Up for sale is this fabulous old primitive cabinet or cupboard. It’s a nice old cupboard with wonderful color. It’s a two-door cabinet with three shelves inside. We don’t know how old it is, but it looks early 1800’s to us! The cabinet is a beautiful worn, chipped and patina-ed Federal blue. The cabinet measures 64.5″ W (without top trim) x 48.75″ H (with top trim) x 17.75 D (without top trim). This old cabinet is a survivor. The back is made from thirteen tongue and groove boards as you can see in the pictures. There are big square nails along with other, smaller square nails, and some round nails too. You can see the iron spotting from the nails on the wood. There’s also a couple of repairs on the lower right along with rough wood as you can see in the pictures. It’s a wonderful dry wood and is a beautiful blue in color with old worn paint. The paint appears to be all original on the front and right side (the right side is mostly painted but some wood only). The left side is just wood (no paint) as you can see in the pictures. The right side has the top trim while the left side does not. The left side may be where it was built in since it is unpainted. The back is not painted. The paint is dry, worn, alligatored, rubbed, scraped, chipped, nicked, faded, edge. On the front, in the middle, the board there is loose and has a mouse hole in it. You could probably add a nail to fix that up. The hardware is old and the knobs are nicely detailed. You twist the knobs to release them from their catches. The left knob does not “spring back” as much as the one on the right does as it’s likely a bit more worn. The top is a darker brown color and has some cracks in the wood as shown in the pictures. The inside looks all original with great patina too! There are ring marks, stains, worn areas and lighter areas. You can see the repair at the bottom in the middle where a board was added. There is also a metal repair on the left side on the middle shelf. This is everything you’d expect to see from an old survivor cabinet like this! What a great look! Aafa Folk Art Antique Primitive Bucket Bench Wood Old Blue Paint Square Nails

AAFA FOLK ART ANTIQUE PRIMITIVE BUCKET BENCH WOOD OLD BLUE PAINT SQUARE NAILS. Up for sale is this wonderful one of a kind bucket bench. It’s old, it’s adorable and it’s a wonderful painted blue color with soft green undertones and lots of age and patina! There are two shelves that are nailed into the sides of the bucket bench as you can see in the pictures. The shelves are in good condition but the top shelf has a portion of wood missing, likely where a knot was, in the middle-left-center as you can see in the pictures. The right side of the top shelf has a small crack in it and on the left side one of the nails created a chip in the shelf and the chip is still there. We took a close-up of that area for you. The whole bucket bench is in good condition considering its age. The bucket bench measures 38″ W x 29-7/8″ H x 12-5/8 D (with the back board). The wood is almost exactly 1 thick, just slightly less. The sides both have cracks in them but they are still sturdy and have not split. The sides at the bottom have a nice rounded scalloped / bootjack to them and top edge is radiused. The back boards have circular saw marks as you can see in the pictures. There are a couple of places where the nails split the wood. There are mostly old square nails as you can see, but there are also some gnarly looking rusty old round nails. This is truly a one-of-a-kind item. We don’t know the age of this item but we think it’s from the 1800’s but you make the call. There are nicks, scrapes, small cracks, edge wear. Loss, paint, fading, dings and worn paint as you can see in the pictures but nothing you wouldn’t expect from an item of this age. We will do our best to answer your questions. This listing is for an original 1840 era hand made box painted in the Pennsylvania Dutch style with two vignettes of tall houses on it. Measures about 13-1/2″ wide x 9-1/2″ deep x 9 tall. AAFA FOLK ART SINGLE SIDED GAME CHECKER BOARD ORIGINAL RED PAINT SQUARE NAILS. Up for sale is this old hand-painted checker / game board. It has a great folk art feel to it! The board is a wonderful red color with cream-colored squares. It’s an 8 x 8 game board. There is paint loss, edge wear and hand wear but it looks just great! The game is on a two-piece board as we hope you can see in the pictures. We don’t know when the game was painted on but it looks old to us. It’s got great colors! The checkerboard has bread board ends and in the upper left corner there’s some chunks of wood missing. There are old rusty nails in the bread board ends. And, on the sides, the edging is a bluish color as you can see in the pictures. There are a couple of square nails which we tried to show in the pictures. Not all of the nails are square nails. Also on the top there is a nice round hook to hang it up by. On the back, the one smaller board is a different color and the bigger board is a wood color. There are two hangers on the back as you can see in the pictures. It measures 23.5″ L x 13.5″ W x 1 thick the main wood is. As mentioned, there’s some paint loss, nicks, scrapes, scratches, worn edges and dings. All of these “issues” are just as you’d expect from an item of this age… It’s still just a neat old board!!
