Vintage Mid Century Hanging Ceramic Swag Owl Lamp. Hand Painted in shades of brown and black. Awesome mid century folk art vibe. Open areas of owl’s design allow for a surprising amount of light. Excellent condition with the exception of a chip on the beak as shown in the last image (easily touched up with craft paint or a permanent marker). Measures approx 14.5″ tall and 7.5″ in diameter. Mexican Folk Art Punched Tin Painted Church Figure Corded Lamp Light Lg 23
This is a beautiful punched tin art form, made in Mexico, in the shape of a large church. Made by a talented hojalatero (“tinsmith artist”) from San Miguel de Allende. A lot of work goes into producing a piece like this with tons of detail in the punched, cut and assembled artwork. It is a corded, plug-in lamp / light, with a socket inside and toggle on/off switch. AAFA ANTIQUE EARLY FOLK ART 1800’s ORIGINAL PAINT LIGHT BLUE WOOD DRY SINK. Up for sale is this wonderful old primitive dry sink. It’s a smaller-sized single door cabinet. It’s a wonderful old dry Primitive light blue color (almost a robin’s egg blue or powder blue) with green and wood undertones where the paint has pealed or chipped off. The paint appears to be all original and is very dry, alligatored, worn, rubbed, scraped, chipped, nicked, edge worn and patina-ed! Please expect some paint chips at the bottom of the box when you receive it. We will carefully package this item. This is everything you’d expect to see from an old survivor cabinet like this! What a great look!! It’s an old dry sink. The door opens has an old wooden thumb twist to hold the door shut and a small pull to pull it open. Inside there is a bottom to the cabinet and that’s painted a soft yellow. The door has old heavy shaker style hinges with slotted screws. You could leave the doors open and display crocks, or firkins or other wonderful items. The paint has some edge wear, scrapes, patina, fading, variation of color, wood showing through, chipping and nicks. Please see photos for accurate detail and description. The pictures are pretty good for the color, especially the close-up ones. It’s a great old cabinet / cupboard!! The cabinet measures 35.75 W x 16″ D x 27.75″ H. The well inside measures. 34.5 W x 14.25″ D x 3.5″ H. The wood is thick, 13/16″ thick (a little more than 3/4″ thick)!! Thank you for your understanding. This is a great dry sink!
