Description: A nice framed Folk Art reverse painted on glass of a young girl standing with doll in hand. This reverse painted piece by David W. Gottshall of Womelsdorf, Pennsylvania is signed and dated lower left corner. The scene shows a young girl in a long blue dress and red shoes. The girl has black hair and she is holding a doll in one hand with another toy with a red balloon attached to it in the other. There is a brown cat above her, green leaves all around, and red tulips below her and just next to the doll. There is also a blue bird by her left foot. The painting is on turquoise background and is framed in a brown painted wood frame. The piece has a brown cardboard backing and a wire extending across to hang from. A colorful painting all done in reverse on glass. It is in great condition ready to hang on your wall. Please carefully review the photos as they are part and parcel of our description. Size: The piece measures 9″ by 6 3/4″ and weighs about 10 ounces. Marks: Signed DWG 76 lower left corner.
