Set of vintage, mid-20. The photos do them no justice. · Custom framed (in Vicksburg, MS), Balinese Batuan painting, signed DWRAI. Measures approximately 32H x 17W, depicts the mythology characters Jatayu and Rahwana. Measures approximately 30H x 17W, depicts the mythology characters Hanuman. There is some slight tearing of the paper on the backing of the frames from moving, but doesn’t affect the front-facing frame/glass, nor has it altered the integrity of the art inside. Balinese School 20th Century Watercolour – The Marketplace. A busy and detailed depiction of a Balinese market, with sellers seated on the ground with their wares as adults and children mill about them. The painting is unsigned and presented in a Hogarth style frame. The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and some foxing. The frame has some light surface scuffing. Size: 25.9 x 36.6cm (10.2″ x 14.4″). Framed Size: 37.7 x 48.2cm (14.8″ x 19″). Includes a Certificate of Authenticity. All our artworks are packaged to a very high standard, using protective cellophane wallets, hardboard backing, and bubble wrap. Framed pictures are packed into custom made cartons.
