The bottom of the trunk is not painted and the wood looks like it is White Eastern Pine. The rest of the trunk is all painted. The Painting has wear through out. There are small nicks and scratchs. The Hinges are iron. The handles are also made of Iron. The painting is signed on the upper right corner (LILY G). The top board is seperated down the center. The front of the chest is Painted with a Horn Of Plenty. There is a hole on the left side of the trunk. The structure of the trunk is sound are ready to use in your home. The size is 11 7/8 x 19 5/8 x 11. Please look close at the pictures as they are part of the description.
