He was a self-taught folk artist who began producing outsider art late in life. He gained recognition in the 80s and was subsequently in Museums throughout the US. He is well known and one of the more notable folk artists in the US. Miller at Folk Fest in Atlanta. I can still see him wandering around in his overalls. This is a great Signed double sided Rooster metal cutout. One side is brightly colored with a yellow background, highlighted with red, purple, blue and bright red wings. The other side is yellow and red. The comb, beak and feet are bright red on both sides. At its longest, the cutout is approximately 21 and it is about 11 tall.
