Superb Antique 18c Large Winter Scene Painted Folk Art Glass Onion Bottle AAFA. This is a charming and unusual antique glass “onion” bottle dating to the 18th century. The large hand blown olive green bottle is charmingly decorated with a hand painted winter scene. Children can be seen flying down a sledding hill bystanders look on. The bottle is topped with a hand applied finish and shaved wooden cork. Condition: In overall good condition. As pictured, the painted decorated is flaking and lost is some areas. The base is uneven. As a result, the bottle tips toward one side.. This condition is consistent with age and use. Please examine the images for the best indication of condition. Dimensions: It is 18 1/4 to the top rim. 1800s FOLK ART ORIGINAL PAINT MUSTARD EARLY WOOD DRY SINK DOUGH BOX SQUARE NAILS. Up for sale is this wonderful old primitive portable dry sink. Imagine this on the back of a chuck wagon as settlers moved across the country!! Stop for lunch and break out the portable dry sink! It’s a nice size. It’s a wonderful dry, crackled, soft mustard color with blue, red, grey, cream and wood undertones. Please see photos for the best description and accuracy. The dry sink has a lid on it that is removable. It is not attached to the dry sink. There are also two holes and a crack in the lid of the dry sink as you can see in the pictures. You could use this as a center piece on your table and it would give you a great look. Leave the lid off and fill it up with wonderful greens or pumpkins or Christmas items. The paint appears to be all original and is dry, worn, rubbed, scraped, chipped, nicked, edge worn and patina-ed! There are also some cracks in the wood from age. There’s some damage on the right side where the wood was damaged. Also at that point, you can see one of the large heavy duty square nails. There are a lot of square nails in this piece. This is everything you’d expect to see from an old survivor cabinet like this! What a great look!! It’s an old dry sink and you can see that there’s even two drains / holes on the left side in the bottom. We took a close up picture of this. There are a lot of old rusty nails as you can see in the pictures. The paint has some edge wear, scrapes, patina, fading, variation of color, wood showing through, chipping and nicks. Please see photos for accurate detail and description. The pictures are pretty good for the color, especially the close up ones. It’s a great dry sink! The dry sink measures 32.5″ L x 22″ D x 6.5″ H without the top and 7.5″ H with the top. The top is 7/8 thick wood. We regularly put up new items so check out our other items.
