An old primitive hand carved and painted wooden cigar store Indian. The paint looks original. There are some areas that will need attention. The fingers on the hand on the forehead have broken off but it is a clean break and will be an easy repair with glue. And paint, the same with the chip out of the back of his head dress. There is minor cracking that is normal for these old hand carved pieces. It looks like the previous owner put wood putty on a back crack and that worked well. Still a wonderful piece of Americana.
