AAFA Pennsylvania Dutch Wood. Pantry box with hand painted decoration. Beautiful pale blue painted wood with hand painted hand painted gold flower bouquet on the top and sides. Dates most likely mid 1800s. Pennsylvania Dutch style of thin shaved bent wood formed into an oval box, tied joints and slat bottom. Measures 16-1/2 long x 9-1/2 x 6 deep. Great condition considering age. Interior rim has some part of wood split off from original height (see photos). Some past splits have been repaired by past amateur restoration owner. Bottom slat is nailed into place, a little wobbly. Lid fits on great, excellent whole presentation when lid is placed on. Look amazing on your shelf. Minimal ware to decoration.
