Wonderful big arched crest on headboard and footboard and adorned by large oval Racetrack painted center panels and raised Black Walnut Architectural Relief. The headboard rest between two Gothic spires and the foot board features curved, rounded ends with a corbel facing the inside. Original matching side rails with great curvaceous flared ends. Incredible original grain painted wood grains and a solid substantial bed of quality craftsmanship, it has all the quality and beauty of the Victorian era. Victorian cottage furniture was made between 1850 and 1880. Cottage furniture, also known as country furniture, was often painted and decorated with hand-painted details.
