AAFA EARLY ANTIQUE FOLK ART BAIL HANDLE BITTERSWEET PAINTED PANTRY BOX. Up for sale is this beautiful 19th Century Early bail handle pantry box in original paint. We love the old Early paint and great patina on this beautiful bail handled pantry box. It’s round and has a round lid. The handle has a wood grip to grab it by and a wire handle. The wire goes in to the pantry box at the sides at a little metal escutcheon. The top has a piece of wood missing off the rim as you can see in the pictures. The bottom of the pantry box has some dings nicks and scrapes as you can see in the pictures. Inside it’s very clean but does have a little “old” smell to it inside. It has some age and wear, wood loss, paint loss, dents, scratches and minor cracks but is still solid. It measures 11.25″ in diameter and about 6.5″ high. It weighs about 2 lbs.
