It is signed in the lower right hand corner “Amede Heroux” and depicts a Hunter in his boat with his double barrel shot gun. He is watching as a Lion is about to attack a Tiger. In the water is a head of a young Water Buffalo. Boldly hand painted in oils, this Folk Art painting does have a couple of restorable problems. There is L shaped tear near the boat, and several other small repaired tears on the right hand side. You can see them in our black light photographs. This early 20.
